Get a quite large towel.
After squeezing out water, lay the garment on a quite large towel on a flat surface.
Fold the towel and cover the garment.
Gently roll the towel and garment together to remove moisture, squeezing and pressing as you work.
Never dry or store a cashmere garment on a hanger, and keep it away from sun and heat.
Dry the garment on a flat surface, preferably mesh, which lets air circulate, and cover it with a light towel.
Once it is completely dry, it is possible to remove pills with a pill remover.
If you prefer, you can also put cashmere in the washing machine. As long as you can adjust your water temperature to cold, and your cycle to low, then, sure, you can machine wash it.
